Laura Bassi Scholarship – The Laura Bassi Scholarship is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to outstanding female Ph.D. candidates from around the world who are pursuing research in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.
The scholarship was named in honor of Laura Bassi, who was the first woman in Europe to earn a doctoral degree in science and was a pioneer in the field of physics.
The Laura Bassi Scholarship is an excellent opportunity for female Ph.D. candidates to receive financial support and recognition for their research achievements. It is also an important initiative in promoting gender equality in STEM fields and addressing the underrepresentation of women in these fields.
The scholarships are open to every discipline and are awarded three times per year: December, April, and August.
